I have had a couple of episodes of low blood sugar when I was at the library or at the store. I forgot my glucose tablets a couple of times and got smart after that and carry the tablets with me all of the time. I also wear medical ID jewelry in hopes that if I would happen to pass out that someone would look at my necklace or bracelet. I try to keep in mind that if I am at a store that has a pharmacy and I feel a low coming that I can always go there and tell them I need help. I have never asked for help so I am not sure what the response would be if I did ask for help. The best thing that you can do for yourself is to carry glucose tablets at all times.
