Its been a while since I read it and don't know if I can find it still, but things containing MCTs, medium chain triglycerides, like coconut oil, was beneficial along with a low carb diet. Just adding coconut oil to the Standard American Diet lacked the benefits. The SAD was said to be a major contributor.
