Hi, my name is Lahani and i'm type 1. I am 17 years old and lately I have been having some mysterious issues in controlling my numbers. Normally, after sleeping my waking numbers would range between 110-128. This morning, after doing everything I normally do (insulin, planned meals on schedule, proper diet) my waking number was 185. Does anyone know why this may have occured? Should I eat or fast? My doctord office is closed but should I seek medical attention or wait for my appointment coming Friday? Any help is appreciated because I am confused :/

Welcome to the forum. Let me say that 185 is nothing to get in a panic about. If you have taken your insulin and everything else is normal just go for a walk and check in a couple of hours. Do you do correction boluses when you are too high. If you do and know how to figure it do one if it is not back to normal in a few hours.
