Well I had one of those harsh, stinging reminders, last night ... I made a "Cauligatawny soup" that gets an F. I will be revising recipe, prior to posting ...
but the thing is I added some channa dal flour -- a modest amount, I think maybe 2 TBS per 10 servings of the soup! -- far less than an amount I had consumed about a year ago, but fried, not boiled. But it should still have been quite low-carb, from all other ingredients.

10 hr on rising, 130 -- and that was after 10 U Levemir.
WOWZA. My body does not handle starch well. Obviously. Holy Moly!
It was a very tasty soup.
Makes me wonder what was happening pre-diagnosis, and for how long.
