Hi All,

I had a 9.1 a1c in 2018
2019 my bg was always 170-190
2020 my kidneys started hurting, skin burned, open sores that didnt heal, Id also passout for 2hrs after eating high carbs.

March 2021 I started taking red rice yeast and berberine.
I also cut all sugar and carbs.
Did cardio 30min a day & lifted weights for 15min.

My bg is now 100-120 and all the above symptoms are gone.

Hello deathdodger, welcome to the forum.

Congrats on the success in getting your BG in control and relief from all the symptoms. Do I understand correctly that this has all happened in the last 2 months?

I had never heard about red rice yeast, but have heard of berberine. I was wondering what you dosage is of each and when you use them. Thank you for the information. Also does either cause any side effects? Sammie

Great Job!
If you like cinnamon, you sprinkle this on oatmeal or in coffee, also helps with blood glucose metabolism.
