Helllo I am a 50 year old happily married Christian Mother and Grandmother who had diabetes in her family and one doc told me my Glucose Tolerence tests showed I was borderline diabetic. My regular doctor said my standard sugar tests are fine so there is a discrepancy. I actually found this sight because I was googling a symtom and I have found someone who asked the same question I am going to ask and no one has answered this person. I am going to answer this person to let them know I am having the same exact symptoms. Maybe they have found their answer from a doc and can help me. Glad to meet people who want to chat.

Hello there and welcome to our community! I am glad you have found us. If you want an accurate diagnosis then I suggest that you see an endocrinologist (diabetes specialist). Regular doctors sometimes make mistakes when dealing with diabetes. There are exceptions though, some regular doctors are very good with diabetics. I see an endocrinologist for ny diabetes and regular doctors for other problems. If you see an endocrinologist you should show him/her the results of your glucose tolerance test.

Please ask all the questions you want!

What Richard said is the best advice. See an endo, he/she will run the proper tests, and will be able to tell you what you need to know.

And B-T-W, hello, and welcome to the board. Feel free to ask anything here too.
