Has anyone of you tried cooking with this? Is it good for us? :)
I think it is okay. It is usually predominantly soy protein. I eat it made into products such as fake burgers, fake sausages, etc. marketed under morningstar farms and boca brands.

HOWEVER, there appears to be controversy based on soy's supposed effect on thyroid function and thyroxine absorption. So some people shun soy altogether. Dig around for more info ...

and of course, your mileage may vary!
