I've used Levemir for several years and haven't experienced what you're describing. I do have minor swelling at injection site sometimes, but it's inconsistent and (thankfully) infrequent.

That Darn Levemir Again
Has anyone had muscle tightening or joint pain with the Levemir? I'm taking very low doses but found some notes from back when I was taking Levemir before. The note stated: Right leg very stiff. Guess what? Right leg is very stiff again along with right arm.

JudithAnn, how is your THYROID function? Muscle pain was my only symptom.
