I had my appt on Monday afternoon.. It was the worst dr visit I have ever had in my life. Not only did we start over an hour late, the woman was rude and dismissive. She completely ignored my girlfriend who is for all intents and purposes my wife (we accompny each other to the doctors offices, she is very active and supportive in my treatment so I feel she has every right to be there and ask questions).
She would not be bothered with looking at my complete chart, only the first page of notes which contained old lab resultes, and proceeded to ream me out for the numbers I posted in march. Only after I urged her to continue flipping through the pages of my chart did she see the newer results, even then she was curt and rude. Getting up and walking out of the exam room on 2 occasions without so much as a word to tend to other matters.. She perscribed me another pill to take once a day (Actos) without explanation of what is was or its function, I had to look it up on the internet. When i asked her what it was for she said, "its to treat diabetes"

She wants to see me again in 7 weeks. I made the appt up front, I told them I want a different doctor. Hopefully the next lady wont be as much of a.........................
