I think I'm going to change my signature. I am going to replace LCHF with KETO. The Consonant, Vowel, Consonant, Vowel sounds less monotonous than Consonant, Consonant, Consonant, Consonant. My LCHF is KETO, but Keto just sounds less bland as a descriptor.

The one thing that popped into my head when I read this was.....

I wonder if any "millennial's" know what a vowel or consonant are?!!

:vs_laugh:
LOL, maybe, as long as they are not written in cursive

And then there's "uptalking", in which sentences end on a HIGHER note?

Very annoying to me.
Kind of like Church Lady
My Apple Watch told me to stand up and move around for a minute, so I got up and got on my bike, after getting a beer and some mixed nuts from the kitchen.

There is a bigger delay in the readings doing alternate site testing. Your lancing device may have a clear attachment that came with it for this purpose, my last 3 new meters did not come with the attachment for their lancing devices.

I used to do my forearms when I first started testing, but now its finger tips all the time. Most of the time it is on the side of the finer tip and occasionally it is the actual tips. Majority of the time it is painless, but every now and then there is an ouch.
Went grocery shopping with my wife Wednesday afternoon. Came home and decided to have fried eggs and leftover Christmas ham for supper. The first two eggs she put in the pan for me were both double yolk. I thought what are the odds of that. I also thought maybe I ought to go by a lottery ticket, so after I eat I go out in the storm, drive 10 miles to the closest store, and buy 5 quick picks.. Guess what!!!!!

I only hit one number. I should have sent her to get the ticket, she was the one that picked that carton of eggs.

Wishing all a Safe and Happy New Year. I'll "see it in" at 3:30 AM, I am working days shift. Probably won't even see the end of the ball game tonight

I lived in Japan when I was in the 4th-6th grade. They said "Ah, So" a lot. I think it meant "I see"
Quite a turn in the weather here this morning, after several days in the 60s and 70s F, it is 24.7 F currently with 84% humidity. Fortunately not as cold and no wind as originally predicted.

Does a cold snap affect your Blood Glucose? Is it due to the weather, or things you do or don't do in reaction to the colder weather.

I've drifted slightly away from OMAD and have been snacking some. I wish I had taken a picture of a piece of celery I had the other day with some peanut butter. The celery had two little stems sticking off of each side of the main stalk and it looked like it was doing a "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" pose, I immediately thought of it as something a celery stalk might do when seeing a Vegan. It was one of those moments!!! LOL
I looked into this, wired and wireless. I think both of them require a collar that needs to be charged quite frequently. The wired one shocks as they approach the wire, so if they by chance ran out without getting shocked, they could also get shocked trying to come back in. The wireless shocks if outside the range of the base unit transmitter. They even make GPS ones but it works like a wireless transmitter, so many feet around the central location. If it would let me map an area and not just be circular I would consider that. Until something better comes along, a good fence and gate would keep my dog off the highway.
I lived dangerously yesterday, at the 4th of July celebration I ate 2 fried Oreos. Probably the only Oreos I've had in 15 years. Not to dangerously though, I did turn down the optional confectioners sugar sprinkling.

No.... I didn't test.
Hope you've rebounded VeeJay.

After some mix ups on my bike trainer program mixing up distances (miles and kilometers) and weights (pounds and kilograms) I may just switch to the metric system on it full time. I go faster and weigh less, can't be a downside to that.

I thought Rottweiler should have won not Fox. Flamingo was my #2 pick.
I just lacked 18 calories making my daily calories burned goal on my fitness tracker. As I sat here snacking on an ounce of mixed nuts and sipping on a diet root beer watching the ball game, my watch dings, and I see I've met my goal. That was a 180 calorie snack, burned 18 calories doing it, so net calories 172. That's like getting a discount. I didn't know it was so easy, I guess I need to raise my goal.

If we, figuratively speaking, keep shooting ourself in the foot with what we eat, eventually we literally won't have any toes.

I wish this weather would make up its mind. The grass was greening up last week, fire ant mounds were peaking, today its sleeting.

It is amazing how busy you can be after retiring. I just thought I didn't have much free time when I had a job.
