A thought about my FBG slowly creeping up, I got to quit thinking to myself that one foot hitting the ground every so often is NOT helping push the wagon, its more like applying a light brake pedal on a Fred Flintstone mobile.

Smoked the turkey yesterday for Thanksgiving to get that out of the way. This may be the first year that having turkey on Thursday will feel like eating leftovers. After BH sliced the turkey breast and de-boned the rest, I picked the bones clean. A lot of small pieces of meat remained and some is hidden out of plain site. I wound up being stuffed.

I live in Louisiana, and I’m an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. At least I was, before I started working 60+ hours per week...

It can really be like this sometimes. Except our dinosaurs are smaller than this guy.

Yeah, was never a fan of how critters grew almost uncontrollably large in bayou country or Florida or Texas. Give me a three-foot frost line every winter and I'm happy!

I've been retired less than 6 months now. Apparently I'm so good at it, I'm getting a pay raise next year.
