Today between breakfast and lunch I decided to try and cut back the amounts of snacks i'd eat for sustaining BG levels. Insted of the usual 1/3 of a raisin box every 90 minutes or so, I spaced a whole box out in small portions from 7am till 11am lunch.
Well my after breakfast reading at 6am was 99. I found that during the course of the morning I would feel that loss of energy, "The drop" so perodicly I took small amounts of raisins. Well it would pick up a little bit then the drop felt twice as bad. My body was feeling like a brick by 10am so I finished the box, drank water and had some more from another box. Before lunch my reading was 107.
Was I really burning through the sugar and carbs in the raisins that quickly?
