As I'm cooking, I taste. Don't know any other way to be sure the meal is turning out as I envision. Generally, it's small amounts to adjust for seasonings, etc. My question is about timing of post meal testings. Do I start the clock from the first taste during cooking or from when I start eating the meal?

I usually test 2 hours after I sit down to eat. I don't count the small tastes while cooking.

Don't ask me where I got it, but I was thinking I should test 2 hours after I finished eating. I guess I should write a list of questions to ask my doctor (she's actually a PA) on my next visit 5/10.
