Hey everyone,
Good Wednesday to you all. I have been experiencing a very weird feeling in my right hand lately. It feels like a mix between poor circulation and the tingling feeling your hand gets after it has "fallen asleep".
I have a Dr.'s appointment early next week so we will discuss it then, but I kinda wanted to get an idea as to what anyone thought this might be.
Thanks.

Could be neuropathy or carpal tunnel syndrome. It would be good to have an EMG and nerve study. These tests are very helpful.

Neuropathy is much more likely to occur in your feet, although it can appera in hands too. If you are having this problem in your hands, but are not having problems with your feet, it seems much more likely to be carpal tunnel. I had carpal tunnel surgery about 20 years ago. It really helped me very much.

I get that periodically in both hands and both feet and sometimes in my face.
I have an appointment on the 8th. with my doc. going to ask him about it then and I will let you know what he says.
I would be interested in finding out what your doc. says too.

Hi Janetype2, I'm wondering what your doc said? My symptoms are exactly like yours and started up very suddenly. Thanks!
I have come to the conclusion that my doctor is an idiot!
Up to now I have not had much faith in homeopathic medicine but I went to see the daughter of a friend and WOW!
She told me that because of the Celiac disease, my body was not absorbing the necessary nutrients and she put me on sub-lingual, chewable and liquid supplements.
I have no more symptoms after 3 weeks!

Sorry to but in on the OP. I thoght it would be useful to add to.

I've had tingling and numnbness in my hands before and this is gone after a few minutes at the most, but lately I have had numbness in my left thigh when laying down on it watching TV and even sometimes when upright and normal and even walking.

I am also getting numbness in my lower back/upper buttocks area.
Both of these last for a while but go when I sit down

Are these symptoms a concern?

This is most likely due to nerve getting pinched at the wrist level. This is called carpal tunnel syndrome
May be, the doctor will prescribe you a, cock up splint, to give rest to your wrist for a month .
As you mentioned, this is very early. this will be the treatment for the moment .

Best wishes

As usual, he knew nothing about what was causing it.
All I can tell you is that since I started taking iron, magnesium, B-12, and Omega 3, I have had fewer incidents of tingly hands and feet.
I am not saying that will help you, just that it seems to have helped me.
See a Homeopath.
