Hi all,
So I'm T2 and 3 months pregnant. I have never really had any help or guidance with my diabetes as now I'm pregnant I'm worried I'm going to do something wrong. I spoke to a diabetic specialist midwife a few days ago, she said I should have been given much more folic acid by my GP than I got. So I'm concerned about the effects of this. My other concerns are that struggling with my blood sugar reading. I don't know where I should be and what to do to correct the readings I'm getting. The midwife said she may start me on treatment but what could this be? What treatments are most likely?
Here's my last few days of test results, 7 tests a day is what the midwife told me to do. Please let me know what you think.
Tuesday. Wednesday. Thursday
Out of bed. 3.2. 8.2. 3.3
After breakfast. 9.7. 9.8. 7.5
Before lunch. 8.6. 6.3. 10.7
60 mins after lunch. 8.3. 8.5. 3.9
Before dinner. 8.6. 3.1. 5.4
60 mins after dinner. 10.8. 10.2. 8.8 Before bed. 5.8. 7.2. 5.6
Any help you can give me would be much appreciated. Rosie. X
