Well, I am not diabetic per se. I am pre-diabetic and my blood sugars when I eat carbs to spike up to at least 189 so I try to avoid my struggle has been with weight. My doctor thinks because my blood sugar is all over the place, despite my attempt to keep it stabilized, for this reason she has put me on Victoza. I started on the lowest dose which is 0.6 I believe after a week I went up to the next dose which is 1.2 after 3 to 4 days my daughter said I was looking very pale. Also, I was feeling kind of low on energy. After a few days of that, I went back down a little bit and I felt better then I went back up to the 1.2 and again I am very pale white white. I don’t know what is causing this and I asked the pharmacist and she said that it’s not a side effect so I’m wondering if anyone has any idea why I would look so pale on this medicine.? Other than that I have lost 6 pounds in a month .
