  • 1/4 cup of nuts (dry roasted, salted macadamia nuts are a favorite, but it's often TJ's "Just a handful of dry roasted almonds," 1/4 cup mixed nuts, or 1/4 cup of walnut halves and pieces)
  • 1 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate (usually Ghirardelli's, but I search out Montezuma's Absolute Black 100% cacao with cocoa nibs, when it's at Trader Joe's)
  • A slice or two of cheese
  • An ounce or two of pepperoni slices
  • A cup of coffee with a tablespoon (or two) of heavy cream
  • 3/4 oz. pork rinds
  • Small container (1 cup) cottage cheese
  • A big spoonful of Skippy Extra Crunchy
  • Celery sticks

I think BH called it Lavash crackers. She made them yesterday and I may mess up what it is, but I think she showed me a package of Joseph's Lavash bread. Looks like about a foot square tortilla. She cut it up into rectangular shaped pieces (about the size of club crackers) brushed with olive oil, sprinkled with spices and baked. Not bad, not too crisp and not too soft, and the carb count is low, I think it was 4 grams per half a lavash. I'll try to post a correction if this is wrong info, more detail, and where she got it after I get home.

I think the tequila and pecans I'm having this morning is probably healthier than the Coors and Chips Ahoy cookies I snacked on when I was 19. "With age comes wisdom" may be questionable in my case.
