I've discovered 4505's pork rinds: jalapeno and cheddar. They are wonderful! Grew up in the South where pork rinds are king, and while I ate them sometimes, there was a limit to how much porky taste I could handle. A few (with low-carb onion dip) went a long way. Enter 4505.

Was at Whole Foods in Feb and saw a display of them. Got a bag and ... they were wonderful! They're light without the characteristic pork taste, at least it is extremely subtle, and tastes buttery/cheesy. You can tell I don't have food-reviewer language - another potential career bites the dust.

Anyway, bought a bunch at Netrition and they are now my occasional go-to salty/crunchy snack.

My new favorite thing, salt and pepper pork rinds. Started out dipping them in the cream cheese dips, i.e. garden herb, roasted garlic, salmon etc, then tried with pimento cheese dips. Gonna try homemade pimento cheese next time.

Deluxe mixed nuts is my biggest snacking problem, I start and don't stop until too late.

I've been craving popcorn lately. I just feel like getting a big bag of salty buttery popcorn and just sit back while watching the news. Maybe I can resist the urge.

I was thinking of the extra fat being good for the macros and an aid in slowing digestion and reducing the spike. LOL
