What Did You Do That Was Healthy Today?

I going to make an extra effort to make sure that I do at least one health thing per day. Whether it is making a different food choice or exercising longer. It is important that we take time to take care of ourself! :)

Aw Breeze . . . not today! :( It was way too busy around here today for me to do anything extra for myself. I'll work on that tomorrow when the DSL guy isn't here & the roofer isn't here (this was all before 10am!) - we don't have to go to town for umpteen errands & get the lawn mowed besides. Yeah - tomorrow will be better. :D

(does pushing a cart around two big grocery stores count as extra exercise? Okay! Then I DID! heheh! I know we were both sure as heck tired by the time we got home & unloaded all that stuff!)
Took the stairs all day at work today....
I parked in a parking lot several blocks from my office & walked this morning.

Took stairs instead of elevators to the 4th floor twice, 3rd floor once.

Parked in the farthest parking spaces in the local market at lunchtime. Bought some beautiful cauliflower to cook for dinner tonight.

Stuck to my lower carb eating routine ... so far.
I made sure I had some Pâté... my favourite way to eat liver!

Actually today was a disaster for me. I ate all the wrong food, took sweets after both breakfast and lunch, and am feeling guilty for that.
I waited until late evening after the sun was very low in the sky and did my one hour walk outdoors. On hot days that is the only time it is comfortable to walk outside.

I walk mornings and evenings, and this morning I've walked my 2.5 mile loop. I feel great when I get back.
If it doesn't rain, I'll walk the same loop again this evening, just before dusk, as it cools down from the day's heat.
5 miles per day is my goal, 5 - 7 days a week.
Worked out with a trainer for an hour!
