86 (4.7) this morning. I had hoped for better improvement in my knee from the cortisone shot but unfortunately I am still having very rough nights and the right knee is just as bad as the left. I see the doctor next Thursday for the other knee maybe he will have an answer. I would love to get just one nights good sleep, oh well.

Atta girl Mary, it takes time to get back in the groove but I know you can do it. :cheer2:

119 and not pleased with it nor the 117 of yesterday. My FBG seems to be trending upward in spite of keeping my macro-nutrient ratio seemingly ideal for LCHF. New strips today, we will see if the trend continues.

67 (3.7) this blue sky cool morning, 88 (4.87) at bedtime.

@Tamagno, I worry about the Lyme too. Here is a chart of symptoms some of which seem to line up with things you are experiencing. I hope the new specialist is able to help you!

@Wally, it took two rounds of shots for the pain to be relieved in my back. Maybe you should do the same knee again before you do the other?

92 this morning which turned into a gorgeous 65 (f) sunny day. I am loving the downward trend (both temperature- and FBG-wise.) :)

4.1 this morning and the wind is howling, setting off the asthmatic crapola. What a mess we all are!

A haircut today, and supermarket visit, then later (or tomorrow if I get too wheezy) perhaps a visit to an elderly aunt who's just had a hip replacement.

Day four of strict LCHF - no more than 20 grams per day to force blood sugar to drop. Grams include everything, even the trace grams in my beloved herb goat cheese.

Also includes a severely reduced food intake. A few days back, and I seem to have almost completely decreased my appetite. I'm just not really hungry!

This morning - 76

117 this morning!

Barbara, thanks for the link. I'm still on doxycycline now, so I'm hoping it will help! My wife thinks all this is tic related as well.

My hand remains recalcitrant, but I think improved. I'll try practicing today.

The great thing is that mornings of reasonable glucose are getting more frequent and that days of staying under 250-300 quite common.

Mary, you might want to be checked for carpal tunnel syndrome. I'm told I have that as well, but feel asymptomatic. It was revealed via EMG. They say the surgery has a very high success rate, although it may resolve by other means.

Hello all, thought I would check in! Still on LCHF, although I took a break from testing from August until last week (honestly- I was broke!). Back to testing and am hanging out at 81.

Down a total of 64 pounds, but just that my BG is still crusing in the low 80s is what truly makes me happy. No problem resisting Candy Corn season- which is a miracle. I have been on LCHF since Jan 5th 2014, and this time last year, I had eaten about 5 2 pounds bags of the crap. Now, I know that if I had even 2 pieces, I would feel like crud. Just not worth it. I love the feeling of being extremely low carb!

Work is still a nightmare, but I will try to check in more.

Hope everyone is well,

@ Barbara, yeah, I see the doctor Thursday and planned to ask him about another injection. It does seem improved during the day, just a real bugger at night.

@ Mary, great to see your success. :thumb:

@ Tamagno, good to see your better bg numbers. Hope the rest gets resolved soon.

@ Mollie, glad to see it's going well, good to hear from you.

68 (3.77) this mostly sunny morning, 83 (4.59) at bedtime.

@Mary, way to go girl!!!

@Tamagno, outstanding number!! Lyme is a nasty bugger!! I hope the new specialist can help you.

I have had the carpal tunnel surgery in both wrists. It was 15-20 years ago and no problems since.

@Mollie, so good to see you back!! And good to see you are in control of your bg!
