I swear I could just post that same response over and over again. Same thing this morning. LOLOLYeah, it's true. I avoid this thread as if it were the plague because I don't have the amazing numbers that y'all have in the mornings so it kind of intimidates me. The dawn phenomenon is very active in my life.
That being said, it's time for me to come out of the closet with my fasting numbers so that others know that not everyone has picture perfect numbers.
So, here it is...
This morning when I woke up, my blood sugar was 141.
A few hours later, after drinking a cup of Bullet Proof coffee, my blood sugar was 108. Go figure.
Were ya excited for a minute though? :biggrin:My CGM said 88 this morning! Haha, I knew that was wrong, calibrated with my meter and came up with 138. That's what I get for sleeping on my "cgm arm".
Of course! :biggrin:Were ya excited for a minute though?
A short time later I drank a protein shake I made (unsweetened coconut milk and protein powder) instead of my coffee because I was in the mood for something else. A few hours after that my reading was 115.Mine is 138 this morning. Once I eat or have some bullet proof coffee it will come right back down.
I pretty much feel like I'm in the same boat. My morning numbers tend to be in the 120-145 range, not sure how anyone wakes up with it under 100. Oh well.Yeah, it's true. It can be frustrating right? This afternoon I am down to 99 so it never quite makes sense to me. :vs_coffee:I pretty much feel like I'm in the same boat. My morning numbers tend to be in the 120-145 range, not sure how anyone wakes up with it under 100. Oh well.
Mine this morning was 137 (7.6).
Just a follow up on this. Once again, A few hours after eating (I had a protein shake, that I make, this morning. 3 carbs.) my blood sugar is down to 91. For those who might be wondering, no I did not take medication yet today. I take my Metformin ER at 2pm and around 10pm. (Yes, I have tried moving the times around.) This is just a daily game I seem to play with diabetes.I woke up this morning not feeling terrific, after a restless night of sleep. It definitely showed up in my numbers this morning. 148
Nope I didn't get too many carbs. (I average 20 per day or less.) My body just decided to play more stupid than normal today.
