FBG was 123. I am now at the point where most of my readings are below 200. It's been a long time since my numbers have been this low.
It's good to see those numbers decrease! Happy for you.

@chargette, if you want to eat beans, research retrograding starch. There is a simple way to prepare some starchy foods so that a lot of the starch is resistant to digestion and does not have near the impact on BG. There is no secret ingredient, it involves timing. Searching "retrograding" here on the forum brings up several threads on this subject.
