One of our posters, Overdrive, mentioned Atkins bars as something they reach for when they're looking for a sweet, on the theory that it's better to eat one of those than a sugary sweet treat. I agree and mentioned that Quest cookies are what I reach for when I want a treat like that.

What do you all reach for? What do you like to eat that satisfies your sweet tooth without spiking your blood glucose?

I was good with the Slimfast Keto Fat Bombs clusters and peanut butter cups, but 10 bucks a box made me lose my appetite for them,

Yeah, I try not to think "$1.50 per cookie" when I eat a Quest cookie. otoh I've seen what they charge for cookies at places like Whole Foods and $1.50 doesn't look quite so bad then.

Hello All - I'm not a big fan of foods with "no sugar" which implies sugar substitutes are used and some substitues react worse than others for my GI tract - and the carb number is generally the same anyway, so meh. Also I tend to want to eat organic and as healthy as possible, when possible. All that said, here it is: "Unreal - dark chocolate caramel peanut nougat bar". Low carb per bar, and they use organic ingredients. They are quite yummy. I buy them from Amazon, but now see them in grocery stores. So there you have it! Enjoy.
