My stuff in Australia.

I get everything at a pharmacy at a local shopping strip as I see my product and hand over the money. ;) Even my subsidised gear too. :D

Purchasing Insulin Syringes

It is getting tougher to buy insulin syringes. I get most of my syringes through my insurance but sometimes I like to try a new syringe or just get an extra box. I like the syringes found at K-Mart or Krogers, they are made by Can-Am Care. Can-Am also makes Monoject. The graduation and numbers are very bold and precise, this is good for me since my vision isn't 100%. Anyway, some pharmacies are now requiring you to provide proof that you take insulin or just have a prescription. American Diabetes Wholesale is going to start requiring a prescription to buy syringes off the internet. I am going to get a note from my doctor stating that I use insulin and will carry this around with me. I usually don't carry my Novolog vial around and usually only carry one pre-filled syringe. For now I carry a flatened empty Novolog box with my prescription label on it so I can buy syringes. I guess too many drug addicts are buying insulin syringes to use to get their hourly or daily high. This is a shame. :(
