Just a photo I like enough that I'll be attaching it to most of my emails for awhile. It is a bit large but at least in the post preview it shows up fine.

I don't want any opinions from ihatesnow :)

It's a gorgeous scene. I wonder who is the photographer?
One of the most impressive photos I've seen for awhile. I think it is so neat that if there happened to be a flying saucer going through at the time it was snapped, that would just take away from the picture.

It was posted on the front page of reddit.com with no photo credit given. It had about 350 up votes. That probably means it was loaded about 100,000 times in the last few days. Guess whoever got lucky with that photo isn't requiring credit for it.

It's my favorite social bookmarking site. If you sign up, you can pick out the topics you want on your front page. They probably have hundreds of different sections. There is one on health which I visit often. One on diabetes.

The bare url for the photo is http://i.imgur.com/DNfuW.jpg That seems to be a free image hosting site and it must be a good one. It's actually a bit surprising to me that it shows up with nothing else on the page. No information and no ads.

Or sitting around in the dark for a week without power!
I have a really good friend who works for the utility company here around Wichita. He absolutely hates storms. HEHE...

This reminds me of my husband's childhood home in Northern Wisconsin. Thank You for sharing this photo. I'm not fond of storms, but when we are snowbound the world seems to stop for a little while and the craziness slows down just a bit. Power outages don't bother us a lot as we have a fireplace.....and yes, we have cooked in it too. :)

OK, so I found out the photo is from Russia. (seems like it anyway)

If you have a Google toolbar you can get it translated and it's a photo competition that needs something natural and something man made in the photo. Nice idea.

Here is the website. photosight.ru/photos/3597628/

Couldn't get the image url to work today and I'm in a hurry, so just posted the paste in url.
