This reminds me of my husband's childhood home in Northern Wisconsin. Thank You for sharing this photo. I'm not fond of storms, but when we are snowbound the world seems to stop for a little while and the craziness slows down just a bit. Power outages don't bother us a lot as we have a fireplace.....and yes, we have cooked in it too.
