First, a confession ...

Haven't had lab work done in ages. We're talking geological ages here. Last time I went, my doc didn't want to discuss anything about my results -- she just tried to push me into statins (lipids were not part of those tests).

Yesterday, I knew I had to bite the bullet.

I get my results online, in real-time. Lipids look much better, all across the board. Still not normal ... and we know numbers don't count against statin-pushing, anyway!

Last number to arrive, of course, was my A1c, which (despite the holidays) is ... 5.4!

I finally get to join a club I want to be in!
